Quality Engineer Intern Responsibilities
- Develop automation and performance scripts adhering to organizational standards, ensuring the creation of reliable automated regression suites.
- Design and formulate test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications, executing them and analyzing/reporting results to the teams.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the timely delivery of business functionality with the required quality, meeting acceptance criteria.
- Concentrate on creating efficient solutions for testing Web, Services/APIs, Database, and mobile requirements.
- Engage in internal and cross-team meetings, contributing to project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, and technical reviews within an Agile environment.
- Actively participate in functional, system, and regression testing activities.
- Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and draw conclusions.
- Estimate and conduct risk analysis to ensure the quality delivery of projects.
Quality Engineer Intern Basic Qualification
- Currently enrolled as third-year students pursuing a B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Possess knowledge in programming using Python, C#, Java, or other languages, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
- Demonstrate proficiency in any database, including SQL/PL-SQL, and the ability to write queries for relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Acquire knowledge in developing Test Plans and Test Cases, actively engaging in Exploratory Testing, and demonstrating proficiency in creating and maintaining Defect Reports.
- Showcase strong communication skills, with an ability to produce clear, concise, and detailed documentation.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to work in a 24*5 environment, including rotational shifts.
Preferred Qualification For Quality Engineer Intern
- Possessing knowledge of testing in Continuous Integration (CI), DevOps, and a rolling deployment/upgrade model is considered a valuable asset.
- Demonstrating basic knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as proficiency in understanding Networking concepts and 3-tier applications.
- Having foundational knowledge of Cloud technologies, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, is viewed as an added advantage.
