Infrastructure Specialist Responsibilities
- Recognizing and addressing business challenges by identifying and comprehending customer concerns to implement effective solutions.
- Analyzing repetitive issues to formulate and implement permanent resolutions, emphasizing a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Prioritizing service enhancement by concentrating on continuous improvement initiatives to elevate overall customer satisfaction.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues and design shortcomings through systematic troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving.
- Collaborating effectively within a team and working independently to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work and results.
Required Expertise For Infrastructure Specialist
- Holds a BE/B.Tech degree in any stream or an M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT/M.C.A.
- Possesses a minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience.
- Demonstrates expertise in Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS), Platform as a Service (PASS), and Software as a Service (SAAS) services.
- Hands-on experience with various Azure services, including VM, Storage account, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, VNET, Route Table, Azure Bastion, Disaster Recovery, Backup, NSG, Azure Update Manager, Key Vault, etc.
- Proficient in Azure Web App, Function App, Logic App, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with additional Azure services such as Event Hub, Redis Cache, Service Mesh, ISTIO, App Insight, Databricks, AD, DNS, Log Analytic Workspace, and ARO (Azure Red Openshift).
- Skilled in orchestration and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift.
- Competent in managing security, including Firewall Management and expertise with FortiGate firewall technologies.
Preferred Expertise
- Utilizes Cloud Native tools for effective monitoring, including CloudWatch and CloudTrail for AWS, Azure Monitor, Activity Log, VRops, and LogInsight.
- Manages and monitors servers across various platforms, including Windows, Linux (AWS, Ubuntu), and AIX.
- Demonstrates proficiency in server monitoring and efficient management practices.
- Implements robust storage monitoring and management, covering diverse storage solutions such as Blob storage, S3, EBS, and ensuring effective backup, recovery, and snapshot strategies.
