Fashion Design Intern Responsibilities
- Offering Fashion Design internships in the Apparel category, focusing on Women’s or Menswear.
- Generate a minimum of 10 trends monthly for Ethnic, Western, and Men’s Apparel.
- Promote trends and analyze their performance.
- Proficient in design skills, including concept and sample development.
- Understand briefs and category requirements, transforming them into tangible designs.
- Conduct trend forecasting and analyze range planning for the Indian market.
- Confidently create a cohesive range with supporting mood boards, theme boards, option counts, and styling tips.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and create tech packs covering fabric, styling, CMT (Cut, Make, Trim), stitch patterns, and trims.
Requirements
- Preferable qualification of M. Des or B. Des in Fashion Designing.
- Proficient in design skills, including concept and sample development.
- Ability to understand briefs and transform them into tangible designs.
- Possesses technical knowledge in stitch patterns and styling.
- Competent in trend forecasting and range planning analysis.
- Proficient in both digital and manual illustration.
- Skills in Adobe Fashion, Illustration software, and Microsoft.
- Competency in theme styling.
