Ad Sales Associate Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for ad revenue generated by designated brands.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee a team of Account Managers focused on expanding advertisers’ accounts.
  • Manage day-to-day ad operations, emphasizing process optimization.
  • Identify brand challenges and opportunities, devising innovative advertising solutions for sustained growth.
  • Enhance workflows, drive advertiser engagement and retention initiatives, and optimize performance across Meesho Ad products.
  • Inspire and guide the team towards achieving business objectives.
  • Ensure achievement of business targets within the function.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement efficient processes and pilot programs to drive business objectives.
  • Identify and address advertiser issues, proactively developing potential solutions.
  • Analyze weekly revenue trends to unlock opportunities for increased ad adoption and spending.
  • Promote the utilization of advertising tools to capture all customer interactions effectively.
  • Facilitate the team in building strong relationships with brands to improve the overall advertising experience.
  • Coordinate with Product, Analyst, Support, and Brand onboarding teams for project collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of applicable experience required.
  • Exposure to e-commerce, sales, and advertising is necessary.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, either through professional work or educational background.
  • Preferably, experience in sales and marketing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interacting with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle objections effectively and professionally.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Previous experience in account management or similar roles.
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
