Data Engineer Job Responsibilities
- Analyze data and create visually appealing charts, interactive reports, and dashboards.
- Design, develop, and manage scalable data pipelines in Azure and Snowflake environments.
- Create and maintain tooling for the Data team, including CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and command-line tools.
- Develop and manage data models, reporting systems, and performance metrics supporting business objectives.
- Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage to ensure data integrity.
- Optimize data pipelines for improved performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify and interpret trends or patterns in data.
- Monitor data pipelines and address any issues or bottlenecks proactively.
- Build mitigation strategies for identified risks.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, algorithms, and models to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Holds a degree in IT/Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or similar field.
- Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse cultures and nationalities.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in database management and design, with experience using platforms like Data Bricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar technologies.
