Investment Banker Job Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses, including Comparable Company and Precedent Transaction Analysis.
- Prepare pitch books, industry overviews, and detailed company profiles with a focus on management biographies and brokers’ outlooks.
- Create newsletters featuring insights on share price performance, industry evolution, and potential buyer/seller opportunities.
- Actively participate in company and M&A screening to identify viable opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to manage and deliver projects efficiently and error-free.
- Independently handle complex projects, demonstrating autonomy and precision.
- Optimise workflow processes to maintain efficiency in project delivery.
- Regularly update databases for accurate and timely information.
Skills Required
- Graduate from a reputable institute, MBA in finance, or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years of relevant investment banking experience
- Strong accounting and finance skills
- Proficient in database tools like FactSet, Thomson ONE, Capital IQ, Factiva, and Bloomberg
- Proactive contributor to firm’s goals and mission
- Ability to challenge current thinking and implement new work methods
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attentive and active listener
- Ensures timely completion of tasks within assigned responsibilities
