Responsibilities
- Take ownership of designing, developing, implementing, automating, deploying, and operating high-quality cloud-native software using a microservices architecture within agile development methodologies.
- Conduct design and implementation reviews for fellow developers across multiple projects.
- Regularly create and maintain automation tests for microservices to ensure reliability.
- Manage the operation of cloud-deployed services and contribute to technical documentation, including product documentation and training materials.
- Deliver technology architecture/design presentations and demonstrations during playback meetings to showcase progress and gather team feedback.
- Identify and propose enhancements to drive continuous evolution and improvement of processes and technologies.
Requirements
- Possess over 5 years of robust development expertise in Java for cloud-native reactive applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Design Patterns.
- Exhibit strong development skills in building REST API-based microservices.
- Utilize working knowledge in database management and SQL.
- Apply working knowledge of container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Display self-driven and organized characteristics, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Collaborate effectively within a global, agile development team environment.
- Embrace a team-oriented mindset, fostering collaboration and iteration.
- Cultivate a growth mindset, demonstrating eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
