Associate QA Engineer Responsibilities

  • As an Associate QA Engineer I, your key role involves validating and maintaining the quality of Dialpad Product vertical by ensuring its functionality and workflows meet high-quality standards.
  • In this role, you’ll be tasked with test creation, execution, bug reporting, and tracking. Furthermore, effective collaboration and communication with internal as well as cross-functional teams worldwide are integral aspects of this position.
  • This position will be based in our Bangalore, India office, and you will report directly to our Functional QA Manager(s).
  • This is a hybrid position, requiring collaborative efforts with the team at our office in Bangalore, India.
  • Aid in the development of test plans aligned with project requirements. Execute manual test cases to ensure the optimal functionality and high-quality performance of Dialpad products.
  • Clearly and concisely identify and document software flaws. Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that newly added features and improvements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to comprehend project specifications and deliver software that meets rigorous quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, scripts, and reports, including thorough test documentation management.

 Required Skills 

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with fundamental concepts in software testing.
  • Understanding of manual testing procedures and techniques.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Ability to articulate issues and generate easily comprehensible reports.
