Sales Executive Responsibilities

  • Lead pre-sales and sales activities, including product approvals, spec-in, and customer presentations.
  • Prepare competitive techno-commercial offers adhering to specifications and established processes.
  • Conduct negotiations with customers to secure orders and achieve sales objectives.
  • Utilise CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales numbers.
  • Establish and maintain a CRM system with allocated customers to ensure effective relationship management.
  • Promote Siemens Solutions, Products, and Services to assigned customers.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) for negotiations with internal or external suppliers/vendors.
  • Coordinate with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Research & Development (R&D) for special topics such as Cyber Security, Digitalization, PMU/PDC, PMS System, etc.
  • Ensure smooth project execution by coordinating with the execution team.
  • Demonstrate awareness of competitor product portfolios and technical solutions.

Sales Executive Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Full-time degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales or tendering, with a focus on control, protection, and automation of electrical equipment, particularly in Substations or Power plants.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with Grid applications like CRP, SAS, PMS, VMS, AMS, Self-healing, Distribution automation, etc.
  • Good understanding of Numerical relays, RTU, Gateways, OWS, EWS, and communication protocols (MODBUS, IEC 61850, IEC 101/104, OPC protocol).
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying electrotechnical languages, symbology, and IEC standards.

Skills and Characteristics:

  • Strong Networking, Communication, and Presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for national and international business trips.
  • Self-motivated, quick, and assertive.
  • Ability to remain calm, collected, and collaborative under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Team player with fluency in English (both written and spoken).
