Amazon Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain artefacts analysing requirements, metrics, and reporting dashboards.
• Collaborate with operations/business teams to develop and implement KPIs, automated reporting/process solutions, and process improvements.
• Retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources, presenting it in a digestible format for effective decision-making.
• Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to senior management, reporting progress and addressing roadblocks.
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc.
• Demonstrate excellent writing skills to create artefacts understandable by both business and tech partners.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvements to processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Provide continuous training and support for new and established functionalities.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and Catalog Excellence team to capture new requirements and expand functionalities.

Amazon Business Analyst Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analyst role.
• 2+ years of experience developing requirements and creating documents and process flows.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.
• Proficiency in MS-Excel, VBA coding, Python, Business Intelligence, UI Building.
• Advanced knowledge of MySQL.

Additional Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience.
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
• Experience with SQL or ETL.

• Experience working with Tableau.
• Experience handling very large datasets.
