Responsibilities
- Create Entity Relationship (ER) Diagrams for the proposed database.
- Design and create database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Identify columns for Primary Keys in all tables at design time and implement them.
- Develop functions to provide custom functionality as per requirements.
- Write code to avoid potential blocking and deadlocking situations.
- Implement security measures to prevent SQL Injection.
- Design, develop, and deploy SSIS Packages for data integration.
- Modify/update T-SQL scripts for importing and organizing data efficiently.
- Automate daily/monthly data and reporting processes using SQL Server Agent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring project goals are met.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Must have skills in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Minimum 3.5 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Ideal candidate possesses a strong educational background in computer science or related field.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Position based at the Mumbai office.
