Amazon Internship Responsibilities

• Establish, construct, and implement the logistics pathway from the delivery station to the customer’s designated address.
• Optimise the delivery team’s capacity to handle peak periods by ensuring ample bandwidth for efficient delivery coordination.
• Forge strong collaboration with the delivery team, encompassing associates, to cultivate and sustain a team that is highly motivated and excels in performance.
• Exhibit robust leadership proficiency and adept people management abilities.
• Enhance the delivery process through the introduction of improvements in processes and training methodologies.
• Launch initiatives to elevate quality standards, minimise waste, and streamline operations by eliminating unnecessary tasks.
• Incorporate structured process control and improvement mechanisms, such as the implementation of Kaizen principles.
• Examine data reports systematically to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and areas with potential for improvement.
• Apply analytical acumen to interpret information, discern key facts, and assess alternatives to ascertain benefits and associated risks.
• Exhibit effective communication skills in conveying information to both individuals and the team.
• Clearly communicate objectives and expectations for the Delivery Center/Amazon, cultivating a shared understanding among team members.
• Demonstrate adept listening skills to solicit input and secure commitment from all parties involved in delivering their respective responsibilities.

Amazon Internship Requirements

• Completion of undergraduate studies; possession of an MBA is considered advantageous.
• Demonstrated expertise in people management, with a highly desirable background in leading and overseeing teams.
• Preferred experience in managing live operations, involving making on-the-spot decisions and promptly initiating actions when required.
• Possession of an added advantage includes a thorough understanding of city topography and road networks.
