As a Research Associate in BCG’s Data and Research Service (DRS) division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and insightful delivery of research projects within the Climate and Sustainability practice area. Your responsibilities will involve utilizing a diverse range of research resources, information portals, and methodologies to produce meaningful research outputs aligned with specific requests. Demonstrating your skill in synthesizing data, you will provide accurate insights tailored to the research requirements. As you progress, you will actively collaborate with senior team members, enhancing your understanding of the Practice Area and delivering profound insights to support their Case and Knowledge teams.

Research Associate Responsibilities

• Your responsibility includes guaranteeing the accurate and flawless fulfillment of research requests.
• Develop proficiency in utilizing various research resources, information portals, and methodologies to produce and deliver insightful research outputs.
• Showcase your capability to synthesize information, draw insightful conclusions, and package research outputs in a clear and structured manner that directly addresses the identified problem.
• Actively seize opportunities to contribute to BCG publications and internal materials.

Research Associate Qualification

• A minimum requirement of an undergraduate degree (preferably in fields such as environmental engineering, environmental science, climate change, sustainability, etc.) accompanied by a strong academic record is sought.
• Seeking candidates with 0-1 years of relevant experience in Consulting or Research organisations. A foundational understanding of the Climate and Sustainability domain, including ESG, circular economy, decarbonization solutions, carbon markets, nature-based solutions, climate policies, and risks is essential.
• Proficient in both verbal and written English with a strong command of the language.
• Proficient in utilising diverse platforms, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the capability to present insights in a user-friendly format.
