Business Intelligence Data Engineer Responsibilities
- Collaborate with EBP Anaplan, SAP-IB, and R&A implementation team to understand planning models, reports, dashboards, and reporting needs.
- Map planning models/reports/dashboards to source data for generation.
- Work with subject matter experts in Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial functions to identify best data sources.
- Ensure accurate communication and implementation of business specifications by IT delivery organization.
- Support Product Owners and stakeholders in creating precise user stories.
- Provide innovative solutions for enhancing overall architecture to improve business experience.
- Assist operation team in analyzing data quality gaps.
- Support communication team in managing program deadlines and risks.
- Conduct business knowledge transfer to various teams including ML and IT.
- Develop efficient and secure E2E processes for data flow.
- Review and improve various documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Typically 2-4 years’ experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing scientific design and data collection methodologies, tools, and analysis packages for research data collection, validation, and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Application and implementation of experimental design, scientific procedures, processes, and data analysis.
- Proficient use of data engineering tools, languages, and frameworks for data cleansing, mining, and exploration.
- Understanding of NoSQL and relational-based systems, as well as complex, distributed, and massively parallel systems.
- Capability to comprehend complex data structures.
