Within Commerce Engineering, specifically in Sales Compensation, they are dedicated to providing a streamlined and user-friendly experience for Sellers and Partners, offering elite digital capabilities that align seamlessly with their business strategy and foster growth. Sales Crediting and Compensation team plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and predictable payment of sales commissions to over 16,000 Cisco sellers. The precision in incentivizing sellers to align with Cisco’s product strategy is paramount for driving revenue and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

Business Analysis Manager Responsibilities

  • Collaborating closely with Product Owners and business partners, they strive to comprehend and align with their envisioned business outcomes.
  • Engaging in strategic partnerships with business sponsors, business architects, operational teams, and domain specialists, they actively collaborate to collect, construct, enhance, and document requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to analyze business process requirements related to Sales Compensation, leveraging your expertise in sales and sales compensation processes.
  • Engage in collaboration with technical architects and development leads to articulate and document system capabilities and features.
  • Develop and sustain user stories and solution blueprints throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conducting functional testing and executing regression and progression test automation suites for implemented solutions.
  • Take charge of Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including tasks such as identifying data setups for testing, tracking defects, and coordinating the resolution of identified issues.
  • Proactively addressing and resolving production issues raised by users for seamless operational efficiency.
  • Analyzing impacts on downstream systems and collaborating cross-functionally to explore and implement effective solutions.
  • Performing post-project assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and foster continuous growth.
  • Assisting in managing risks, addressing issues, and handling dependencies across multiple teams, while providing regular status updates to managers and business partners.

Business Analysis Manager Requirements 

  • Achieved a Bachelor’s degree coupled with over 8 years of proven experience in roles such as IT/Business Analyst or other technical positions.
  • Holds a Master’s degree and brings forth more than 4 years of hands-on experience in roles such as IT/Business Analyst or other technical capacities.
  • Possesses a proficient understanding of Sales and Sales Compensation processes, with a specific focus on Sales Crediting and Compensation.
  • Demonstrates a solid grasp of ERP and CRM applications, complemented by hands-on experience in Sales Compensation systems, notably Oracle Incentive Compensation and SAP Commissions.
  • Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in verbal and written communication, coupled with outstanding collaboration and client management skills.
  • Brings extensive experience in Agile development methodology, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycles and tools, encompassing design and operations.
  • Proficient in cultivating relationships with both on-site and remote colleagues, leading and sustaining an agile partnership between business, operations, and IT.
  • Proven track record in leading and facilitating estimation and decision-making sessions.

Business Analysis Manager Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in Test Automation, leveraging tools such as UiPath.
  • Extensive experience in Oracle, SQL, Snowflake, and PL/SQL.
