Content Specialist Role
- Entry-level focus on training, requiring extensive supervision.
- In Production/Editorial/Support roles, demonstrates a general understanding of the legal system and basic knowledge of efficient workflow processes.
- Performs tasks such as analyzing, keying, converting, coding, copyreading, editing, merging, rendering, loading, or data validation.
- Supports team publishing goals by meeting deadlines and contributing to the seamless implementation of process migrations.
- Develops competence in various systems, software, databases, and applications for delivering quality products.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of work product, including proficiency in scheduling and administrative systems, as well as computer file management.
- Exhibits interpersonal and team skills, actively participating in team meetings and the performance management process.
- Emphasizes learning and executing existing practices and procedures to support team deliverables.
Requirements
- Less than 12 months of experience.
- Desirable familiarity with legal terminology and various levels of the legal system.
- Previous publishing experience is a positive attribute.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including composition, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation.
- Demonstrates quick learning agility and applies knowledge to complex and evolving tasks.
- Technical aptitude for computer applications and systems, including word processing and file management.
- Ability to prioritize and maintain focus amid multiple assignments and tasks.
- Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills, both independently and within a team.
- Normal office hours and environment, with occasional extra hours to meet deadlines.
- Effective collaboration with team members, other departments, and virtual/off-site teams or vendors.
- Education/Certifications: Any Graduate.
