CPU Verification Engineer Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of NVIDIA’s upcoming CPU by engaging in verification tasks.
- Verify micro-architecture and architecture features at various levels, including unit, subsystem, and full chip testbenches, encompassing both FPGA and silicon environments.
- Collaborate closely with CPU architects and designers to ensure the creation of verifiable designs.
- Foster global collaboration by interacting with teams worldwide, offering verification solutions and insights.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelors/Masters or possess equivalent experience in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a reputable engineering college.
- Accumulate a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in full stack development, encompassing verification sequences from the software simulator level to achieving end-to-end functionality on silicon with a complete software stack.
- Showcase experience in UVM/SV based testbench development.
- Exhibit strong verification fundamentals, balancing work on full chip testbenches and FPGA/silicon environments.
- Possess proficiency in CPU architecture (with a preference for ARM knowledge), Verilog, SystemVerilog, and robust debugging skills.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in CPU unit/microarchitecture verification.
- Have a track record of working on complex, coverage-driven verification projects.
- Showcase experience collaborating with geographically diverse cross-functional teams.
