JOB SUMMARY

Join dynamic team at SCB GIFT City, the offshore booking location situated in GIFT City, Gujarat. As a Credit Analyst, you’ll be an integral part of SCB branch, serving over 110 BCA clients across CCIB and CPBB segments. Credit Analyst Responsibility

1. Engage with Relationship Managers (RM) and clients to gather deal requirements, financial statements, and relevant information for conducting thorough analysis and due diligence.

2. Collaborate with RM and product partners to structure credit solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and appropriateness of the financial products.

3. Support the RM by obtaining pre-clearances, preparing and presenting work-shopping notes, and expediting approvals for a streamlined process.

4. Execute end-to-end Business Credit Approval (BCA) utilizing tools such as Creditlens, RMWB, Raptor, Scorecard, etc. Conduct comprehensive risk analysis, create quality presentations, and ensure swift credit approval.

5. Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory credit/portfolio policies. Prepare BCA and regulatory checklists, address special reporting requirements, and uphold compliance standards.

6. Coordinate and prepare for credit meetings, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members.

7. Liaise with Global Asset Management (GAM) Credit for limit approval and allocation, maintaining a seamless credit approval process.

8. Partner with RMs to promptly identify accounts eligible for placement in EAR, following bank policies and guidelines.

9. Collaborate with RMs on account management with the stressed asset team.

10. Promote the use of Credit Risk Analytics and Credit Analytics Framework within the team.

11. Timely execution of Stress Tests as needed.

12. Conduct in-depth industry studies as required.

13. Prepare Credit Opinion reports when necessary.

Credit Analyst Qualification

1. Extensive background in the banking sector with proven success in a comparable role.

2. Demonstrate keen business acumen, showcasing the ability to evaluate risk and determine suitable levels of return.

3. Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills along with a high level of multicultural awareness and sensitivity.

4. Proficiency in working with diverse and geographically dispersed stakeholders.

5. Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of pertinent experience in credit analysis.
