Data Management Job Responsibility
- Work with internal and external datasets, including client reference data.
- Develop statistical, financial, and econometric models.
- Analyse asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, and risk exposure.
- Prepare standard and ad hoc reports for the assigned area.
- Provide analytical support and conduct basic statistical analyses.
- Perform data management activities with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Run models, identify exceptions, and take corrective action.
- Use technology tools for data extraction and model population.
- Build knowledge of processes, products, and methodologies.
- Interpret findings and draft initial reports with clarity and conciseness.
Data Management Job Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Advanced degree in quantitative analysis.
- 0-2 years of experience, preferably in quantitative finance and technology.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of data management processes.
- Familiarity with statistical and econometric modelling.
- Proficient in using technology tools for data analysis.
- Detail-oriented, emphasising accuracy and quality.
- Effective communication skills.
