Software Engineer Job Responsibilities 

• Align with GE Aerospace’s strategy by supporting SaaS, AWS, and on-prem developer platforms.
• Utilise a variety of tools such as White Source, Rally, jFrog Artifactory, Confluence, Jira, GitHub, and more.
• Oversee and lead a contingent worker team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality platforms with excellent availability and integrity.
• Guarantee platform compliance by adhering to risk and regulatory control requirements.

Qualification

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree and possess over 6 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Python, and API implementation (REST, SOAP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes.

Software Engineer Job Skills 

• Proactive change agent driving innovation in processes and technologies for GE Aerospace. Identifies, assesses, and implements new methods to enhance developer capabilities. Facilitates stakeholder buy-in and participates in change programs for successful implementation. Establishes monitoring and feedback systems.
• Fosters collaboration by clarifying team roles and promoting knowledge sharing. Builds trust and goodwill through open communication and equal distribution of credit and power.
