Senior Position Responsibilities

– Senior position in the Regulatory Reporting BAU/Production team.

– Manage multiple work streams and client interactions.

– Facilitate Business and Technology discussions.

– Engage with stakeholders on data and production matters.

– Ensure 100% accuracy in filing workpapers.

– Work independently with minimal supervision.

– Provide technical guidance to the team and clients.

– Operate in a deadline-oriented role, possibly under a US time schedule.

– Contribute to project management activities as needed.

– Mentor and inspire staff to meet project objectives.

– Proactively develop and deliver training on new initiatives.

– Identify areas for process improvement and promote a culture of automation.

Skills Required

– Clear written and verbal communication skills.

– 4–6 years overall experience.

– 2–3 years in senior roles in BCM or WAM industry.

– Exposure to US-based asset management or fund administration is a plus.

– Mandatory master’s degree in accounting or finance.

– MBA or CA qualifications are beneficial.

– Experience in Regulatory Reporting, Validations, Reconciliations, and General Adjustment processes is advantageous.

– General understanding of US GAAP and mutual fund regulatory practices.

– Versatile with a good understanding of working with Technology platforms/tools.

– Actively participate in selecting and implementing new regulatory tools/frameworks.

– Fair understanding of Technology/Framework and Data systems in the WAM sector.

– Good knowledge of WAM domain.

– Deep understanding of capital market OTC derivative products (Equity, Commodities, Currencies, Rates, Cash, and Credit).

– Familiarity with Risk function deliverables and testing.

– Thorough understanding of different product taxonomies in Regulatory Reporting.

– Understanding of Business Requirements Document (BRD).

– Experience with 1 or more relevant Regulatory Reporting platforms.

– Exposure to Python or R tool-based analytics.
