Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance activities with external suppliers.
- Support GEPC India and Global Projects.
- Monitor Supplier Quality Performance & lead Supplier quality crisis.
- Track and report progress against roadmap commitments.
- Drive quality, delivery, and compliance excellence within GEPC India & global supply base.
- Organize Purchase Order Kick-off Meetings.
- Schedule and monitor quality surveillance inspections at suppliers.
- Assure compliance with contract requirements and regulations.
- Review and distribute inspection reports.
- Release material for shipment.
- Close all deviations.
- Authorize shipment once quality requirements are met.
- Manage technical deviations and nonconformities.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with suppliers, using 8D for High & Critical NCRs.
- Analyze Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and support Sourcing claim process.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented by suppliers.
- Manage surveillance audits.
- Organize audits, monitor CAPA closure, record reports in supplier database.
- Promote strong EHS culture throughout the supply base.
- Support critical root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions for quality escapes.
- Support cost-out opportunities identified by suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Communication Engg.
- 0-2 years of experience in Supplier Quality & Development.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Strong quality mindset with proficiency in risk assessment, 8D, and manufacturing process controls.
- Ability to create and deliver reports for review by key stakeholders.
- Capacity to read and interpret Engineering drawings and Standards.
- Decision-maker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Experience in RCA methodologies.
