Responsibilities
- Conduct price verification and benchmark processes, incorporating fair value adjustments calculations.
- Support diverse VCG established practices and control initiatives, fulfilling tasks related to management reporting, regulatory mandates, and consistency within the broader VCG framework.
- Collaborate with various functional groups on valuation matters, devising and executing measures to ensure fair value.
- Improve existing control framework by evaluating independent pricing procedures, exploring potential coverage enhancements, and introducing new tools to boost control efficiency.
- Undertake value-added projects linked to Business, Risk, and Finance initiatives, contributing to strategic objectives and operational enhancements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience required. Graduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering preferred.
- Proficiency in comprehending complex products and analyzing transaction and process flows.
- Prior work experience in the financial industry.
- Understanding of valuation concepts concerning financial products and derivatives, coupled with basic accounting knowledge.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, automation, and database skills preferred.
- Efficient multitasking and task prioritization capabilities.
