Responsibilities
- Address and improve product and equipment-specific issues.
- Collaborate with other Assembly Engineering teams to implement new products and monitor existing ones.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product-specific engineering issues.
- Act as a liaison with outside departments including FAB, Probe, PE, Test, QA, EI, and Planning.
- Evaluate and improve assigned Assembly Manufacturing Processes, Materials, and/or Equipment.
- Evaluate future Process, Equipment, and/or Material Technologies.
- Coordinate Equipment and/or Material Procurement.
- Develop Process of Record (POR).
- Qualify New Process, Equipment, and/or Material.
- Implement New Process, Equipment, and/or Material.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Materials Science, Mechanical).
- Proficiency in maintaining general process, equipment, and material knowledge.
- Ability to optimize process and/or equipment variables and identify all process variables.
- Familiarity with DOE techniques and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of equipment and materials interactions and monitoring Assembly process SPC.
- Ability to evaluate future process, equipment, and material technologies.
- Skill in coordinating equipment and/or material procurement while adhering to safety requirements.
- Experience in implementing new processes, equipment, and materials, and reducing costs.
- Capability to coordinate training requirements and contribute to a safe and compliant work environment.
