Project Engineer Responsibilities
- Follow the company’s project processes and keep all technical and quality documents up to date.
- Be the main contact for customers throughout the project.
- Assist the Project Manager with technical aspects and various project tasks.
- Review and understand customer requirements from provided documents.
- Raise any technical questions to clarify requirements.
- Manage a team of software and hardware engineers working on the project.
Requirements
- Familiarity with project execution procedures.
- Proficiency in developing and testing DCS/PLC logic and graphics.
- Understanding of Function Block Diagrams, Sequential Flow Charts, Ladder Logic, Structure Text, and Phase Manager.
- Knowledge of DCS/PLC hardware components.
- Basic comprehension of field devices including valves, motors, analyzers, and various instruments.
- Adaptability to respond effectively to changing demands.
- Demonstrated potential for leadership.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse teams across different organizational levels.
- Pragmatic approach to tasks and work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural virtual environment.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
