Software Engineer Job Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements into design components, break down projects into tasks, and provide accurate estimates.
- Develop various solutions with extensible low-level designs, ensuring modularity, readability, and performance in the code.
- Take ownership and accountability for complex projects, emphasizing quality of work (Code quality) and documentation.
- Choose appropriate Data Structures, tools, and tech stacks, and execute High Level design with guidance.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contributing to the shared vision and objectives.
Requirements
- B.Tech or M.Tech or equivalent degree with 2.5 to 5 years of experience required.
- Develop abstractions and contracts with separation of concerns for larger scope projects.
- Possess extensive programming experience in at least one language such as Java, Ruby, Clojure, Scala, C, C++, SQL, etc.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming.
- Demonstrate experience with multi-threading and concurrency programming.
- Ability to navigate complex business flows and handle large volumes of data.
- Prior exposure to agile environments or continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Bonus points for experience in building robust and scalable web applications.
